A Fall in Winter

First, let me just say how terrible I feel for those who still don't have electricity and heater. I can't imagine going through this weather without any heat. Weather's been crazy ya'll. First a hurricane, now a snowstorm. It's like Manila, only a thousand degrees colder.

But, I would be lying if I didn't say how much I loved snow. I think I actually like it better than fall. There's just something wonderful the morning after when everything turns white. That's before everything turns muddy and icky of course.

I decided to bring my camera and risk getting mugged in the 10 blocks I have to walk from apartment to school. Everything was that pretty.

Don't you just want to lick that ice. haha.

Fordham is photogenic no matter what the season is.

There's Dealy! Where the IPED office is.

So I decided to take a picture of myself in the snow using my bestfriend - the self timer.

I kept getting blurred pictures however.

So I kept trying.

Awkwardly trying. It took longer too because I had to make sure no one was around.

Good thing no one was around. Before I go further, let me tell you this story: A few years back in Manila, I ate at KFC. On my way down from the second floor, I fell 3 flights down, landed on my knees, right in front of the security guard who then asked me "Does it hurt?"

How I felt in KFC was exactly how I felt when this happened:

I felt ridiculously happy! hahaha. Couldn't stop laughing at myself. How lucky that my camera caught every moment of my fall! hahaha. What a great reminder that though we fall sometimes (or in my case, all the time), always we stand again.

Just to recap:
