Cherry Blossoms, we shall meet again.
In another post I shared our misadventures at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden. While I truly enjoyed every moment of that day, I must admit that I was a little bit disappointed that I wasn't able to catch the blossoms in all their blooming glory. In fact, this tree was the only one left with blossoms.
Given the chance, I would like to go to Washington D.C. come spring time to see the cherry blossom garden there. Apparently over a thousand trees were gifted by the Japanese Government to the US. Can you imagine how amazing it would be to walk under those trees while pink blossoms fall around you in a dance?
