Work and Play.

The bad thing about not being a student anymore is work on a Christmas break. But I don't mind really. I've been spending too much time flat on my back anyway. Might as well get some exercise. After work was dinner with my JVP batchmates. Read more after the break!

Mangan Tamu!

Because we weren't fat enough for the holiday season, we decided to go on a food trip in Pampanga. Justin and his family was kind enough to accommodate us!
(see how we stuffed ourselves senseless. MORE after the break!)

Panatang Makabayan...

Current version

Iniibig ko ang Pilipinas,
aking lupang sinilangan,
tahanan ng aking lahi;
kinukupkop ako at tinutulungang
maging malakas, masipag, at marangal.
Dahil mahal ko ang Pilipinas,
diringgin ko ang payo ng aking magulang,
susundin ko ang tuntunin ng paaralan,
tutuparin ko ang tungkulin ng mamamayang makabayan;
naglilingkod, nag-aaral, at nagdarasal
nang buong katapatan.
Iaalay ko ang aking buhay, pangarap, pagsisikap
sa bansang Pilipinas[2]

[edit]Original versionIniibig ko ang Pilipinas

Ito ang aking lupang sinilangan
Ito ang tahanan ng aking lahi
Ako ay kanyang kinukupkop at tinutulungan
Upang maging malakas, maligaya at kapakipakinabang

I took this while waiting for a cab in U.P.  I was dripping wet and everything seemed so grey. Oddly enough, I was happy.
