MOMA with the Hernandez Family/ OMG I saw a Van Gogh, Monet and Gaugin in one day!

I got a chance to visit the MOMA with the Hernandez family. The MOMA is free on Fridays! Of course there were tons of people and I barely had a moment to have a moment with my favorite art works. But still it was wonderful! I got separated from teh family because I had to pee. haha. So I was alone for the first half of the tour. Enjoy!

First IPED party

All the girls and the boys partied in the house. I don't know what I'm saying. Though my body thinks I'm too old for parties I do enjoy moments such as these when you get to make new friends. Here's to conquering econometrics and poverty! (Whut? I don't know. Ignore me and just scroll down.)

Chuck E Cheese with the nieces

First off, I didn't know it was spelled as Chuck E Cheese until i googled it today. You learn new things everyday huh? So the girls and I went to Chuck E. Cheese so their mom could have some relaxing time. Sadly after this trip Kylie fell and broke her arm. She's fine though and braving it all out.

Had a great time at Chuck's. I'd like to see go head to head with Jollibee. hehe.

IPED soccer

The IPED team's competing inthe university intramurals. Every Tuesday they play soccer. We lost the first 2 games, but never say die.

President's day.

The President of the Philippines was awarded an honorary degree.  I have opinions on that but that is not the point of this entry. The point is we couldn't have our picture taken with him. So we took pictures of ourselves instead.

Bronx Zoo Field Trip

One Saturday, the family and I went to the Bronx Zoo. The zoo occupies 256 acres of land. I think we covered around 6 of those. hahaha. A day's not enough to see and experience everything. Which means, I'll be back.

hangin' out

Taken from a park right beside Erika's building.

The first few weeks before classes started was spent hanging out with people and reconnecting with family. It was also a time rediscover God's kindness in various ways and forms.

Yeah, I totally stole that title from a movie. So anyway, I have tons of pictures. That I'm able to post again may be a sign that I'm adjusting well here. So here it goes.
