Happy birthday Ms. Rica!

One of my favorite people in the world celebrated her birthday. Ms. Rica Bolipata Santos was my college teacher for 18 units. And after that, she's been a teacher of life. I am fortunate that our relationship has grown from that of student-teacher to a friendship that's consoling, funny and wonderful. Thank you ma'am.

We start with a view of her back for suspense.

Here she is blowing her candle.

It was that happy.

What did she wish for? Let's just say it involved diamonds and a macbook air.

Ma'am Cyan! She was my first lit teacher. Thank you ma'am.

In true diva fashion, she had her own birthday catered. And the food was great. especially the seafood kare kare.

Then we had cake.

Coni and her new hair.

I'm sorry I'm bad with names.

Hey Martin!

They're both from Bukas Palad!

One of the rare times we get to have a picture together.

So we had one more.

Martin loves his coffee. This year alone he spent 1 billion. Oh wait, that's PAGCOR.

More shots of the bday girl!

Ah cake.

I hate you.

They've been bestfriends forever.

Hey.

Talking about her wishes.

Sir Jonathan!

More group pics.

Then it was time to go.

The many faces of ma'am rica coming up.

What a perfect venue for her birthday, surrounded by artworks of women.

We celebrated her birthday here. She's head of ALIWW.

If you have time, please visit ALIWW.

The art works alone make it worth the visit.

HBD Ma'am!
