Blast From the Past : On top of a Jeepney

This was somewhere in South Cotabato. Riding on top of a jeepney can be both frightening and exhilarating. For those visiting the Philippines, you really should try this. Imagine zipping through towns, mountain sides, forests on top of of one these. The wind rushing through your face, your hands gripping tightly the metal bars less you fall to your death.

The jeepney started as a military vehicle. Now it is a major public transport vehicle. There's one in every barrio, city or province. Makes sense, considering how tough it is.
